The Broadmoor West Residences
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Invited to compete in a design competition to design an exclusive condominium building on one of the last remaining large developable sites at the Broadmoor, the proposed design leveraged the golf course views by extending the buildings wings outward to the south and pulling the center of the building back – a move that allowed room for a stream and pond to be created in the foreground of the lobby and owner’s lounge. The mass of the building steps down in scale from a 5-story central tower to 3-stories at each end. The architecture was designed to blend seamlessly with the resort's iconic architecture.
