This competition winning design was featured in Sunset Magazine as a house that would accentuate the West and accommodate the ever-changing lifestyle of the American family. Originally designed in the Shingle Style, a Mediterranean inspired architecture was chosen for the dream home to be built in California.  Large roof overhangs with Spanish tiles and decorative wood rafter tails complete the look. The house proved to be very popular, with Sunset Magazine offering its readers the opportunity to purchase working drawings.
